Terra Marie Jouaneh, B.S.P.S. ’19 – M.S. Candidate, The University of Rhode Island
A native Rhode Islander, Terra earned her B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Rhode Island in 2019. She is currently a M.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences student, pursuing a concentration in Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacognosy. With a focus in natural products chemistry, her master’s research centers on the identification of novel compounds capable of reversing E. coli bacteria quiescence.
Having extensive undergraduate and graduate research and teaching experience, Terra seeks a career at the nexus of clinical research and medical education. She is eager to speak to prospective students about URI’s program and potential career paths. She believes students from a variety of backgrounds can benefit from a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
