Biography

I’m Katie, and I am a P3 from Austin, Texas. Over the past 4 years, I have gotten very involved on campus and within the College of Pharmacy. I am a Tour Guide and Orientation Leader, and I love helping students find their community at URI. Additionally, within the College of Pharmacy, I am involved in Lambda Kappa Sigma (Historian), which is a professional fraternity for women in pharmacy, the Student Society of Health-System Pharmacists (Student Liaison to RISHP), Rho Chi Honor Society (Tutor), Phi Lambda Sigma Leadership Society (P4 Banquet Chair), the Pediatric Pharmacy Association, and Timmy Global Health (Director of Public Relations). I have also worked with students as a URI 101 mentor and pharmacy peer mentor for P1 students. Outside of school, I work at Kent Hospital in West Warwick, RI.
