Biography

Hang Ma, Ph.D., is a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences and Director of the Bioactive Botanical Research Laboratory (BBRL). His research focuses on the discovery, characterization, and biological evaluation of bioactive natural products from medicinal plants and functional foods for applications in human health, nutraceuticals, and cosmetics. His laboratory integrates natural products chemistry, multi-omics technologies, and molecular pharmacology to investigate mechanisms of action and facilitate the translation of natural bioactives into evidence-based health products.
