Biography

Rami Beiram is an educator and researcher at United Arab Emirates University, where he develops policies for advancement of the university’s research and graduate studies mission while providing vision and leadership for its community. He is responsible for leading the expansion and international accreditation of the UAEU nontraditional Pharm.D. program. He earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of North Georgia, a Pharm.D. from Harding University, and a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Rhode Island. He also trained with the U.S. Army Chemical Corps at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri. He is a consultant to the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention-National Centre for Health Research and is a URI College of Pharmacy International Advisory Board member. He also serves as Adjunct Assistant Professor at George Washington (GW) University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
