University of Rhode Island President Marc Parlange celebrated the University’s progress and the achievements of its faculty, staff, and students during his State of the University address Tuesday, October 10, in Edwards Hall on the Kingston Campus.
Parlange, who is in his third year leading the state’s flagship public research university, addressed an in-person and online audience, highlighting the past year’s accomplishments and important steps taken in support of the University’s new strategic plan, Focus URI.
For more than 130 years, the University of Rhode Island has been dedicated to serving the people and communities of Rhode Island as the state’s flagship public research university.
