Strategic Planning Steering Committee

A University Steering Committee has been created and will oversee and develop a planning process that will culminate in a University-wide, 10-year strategic plan (2022-2032).

The committee will be charged with:

• Outlining and overseeing a process that engages all the divisions of the University and key constituencies in the development of the University’s new strategic plan
• Developing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress of the plan’s goals
• Analysis of trends, challenges, and opportunities impacting the higher education landscape currently and in the future
• Engagement of the URI community in contributing to the strategic plan
• Appointing task forces to develop strategies, actions, and indicators relative to potential goals for the new plan

All URI faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community members are invited to share their ideas about the future of the University at one of our forums.
