Package Shipping

Package shipping via USPS and FedEx can be handled at Mail Services. Shipments must be dropped off by 1:00 p.m. to be sent out the same day. All shipments must have a mail card attached that includes an email address for tracking information and a requested shipping speed (e.g. ground, 2 day or overnight shipping).

Package Tracking

All packages with tracking numbers that are delivered to our facility are checked into our package tracking system and checked out at the delivery location. Contact URI Mail Services for updates on where your packages are located after they arrive at our location.

Express shipping

Express shipping for packages can be processed through Mail Services. Shipments must be dropped off by 1:00 p.m. to be sent out the same day. All shipments must have a mail card attached that includes an email address for tracking information and a requested shipping speed (e.g., overnight, priority or 2 day shipping, am or pm delivery).

International Shipping

International packages (more than 3/4″ thick) or USPS International Priority or Express Mail requires a 3-part PS 2976-R customs form. At the department’s request, Mail Services will send the form via interoffice mail.

International shipping through FedEx requires a recipient phone number and email address for tracking purposes. A custom’s form is not required.
