Blush Bakeshop

From soup and pizza to doughnuts, cakes, danish, and more, Samantha Chamberlain has mastered vegan baking.

As owner and Head Pastry Chef of Blush Bakeshop, Chamberlain has been selling her made-from-scratch vegan baked goods and pastries at farmers markets and pop-up events around Rhode Island since 2018. Shortly after establishing herself, she was ready to open a retail location to take her business to the next level. She contacted Providence Center Director Manuel J. Batlle in October of 2019 for assistance obtaining funding to open her store—and just two months later, Chamberlain closed a $45,000 Microloan to help finance her new store on Atwells Ave.

The RISBDC also successfully assisted Blush Bakeshop in marketing their grand opening in August of 2020. The Mayor of Providence attended to welcome this fresh and exciting bakeshop to the community. Samantha Chamberlain is now excited to share her love for vegan baking with Rhode Island, from the comfort of her own shop.

Along with offering fully vegan baked goods, Chamberlain strives to use natural, organic and local ingredients as well as eco-friendly packaging for all her treats. Blush Bakeshop offers a variety of baked goods including custom special orders and seasonal favorites. There truly is something for everyone!
