When Hazel was adopted as a “pandemic puppy”, little did she know she would also be socially distancing, too. Her mom and dad, Michaela & John, had a hard time finding playmates for Hazel that matched her energetic pawsonality. On the rare chance Hazel would make a new friend at the dog park, her mom would feel awkward asking the other pup’s parents to exchange contact information for future playdates.

As a result, Michaela decided to develop DogFrens, an all-in-one online community for dog parents where you can find other dogs (and their humans) to match play styles, plan playdates, communicate through built-in messaging, explore dog friendly parks, and scroll through cute puppy videos and photos. The app also has a community-reviewed marketplace for services like grooming that caters to the needs of your pups.
