The RI Division of Purchases has created several contracts for goods and services that may be a mutual benefit to various agencies, municipalities and schools. These contracts, called Master Price Agreements (MPAs), have been bid with the combined purchasing power of the state or an external purchasing consortium and therefore are expected to yield the best pricing available. For that reason, when looking to procure goods or services, departments should first review the MPAs to see if there is an available contract to utilize. These Master Price Agreements are being maintained on the State of RI Division of Purchases “Contract Board”.
