While most URI Summer online courses are administered entirely through Brightspace, music courses are administered via connect4education.

URI Summer online courses can be administered synchronously or asynchronously, depending on the curriculum and the instructor. Summer online courses may have daily and/or weekly assignment deadlines. These courses will likely involve a variety of key services that are available for free to all URI students. It is essential that students be ready to start participating in an online summer class on the first day of the session in which it is offered. A student who has questions about a specific online course should email the overseeing instructor immediately.
