This course provides training on performing pharmaceutical calculations in both outpatient and inpatient settings for students starting Advanced Pharmacy Placement Experience (APPE) rotations or preparing for licensure. This course will review techniques for performing clinical and practice-based calculations as one would encounter in professional practice. This course will also review best practices to recognize and prevent calculation errors. (Online) Pre: Current or concurrent enrollment in PHC515, PharmD P3 or P4 student, or by permission of instructor.
