This course is designed to provide the student with an overview of the biopharmaceutical manufacturing process. The course will study the process of manufacturing proteins and other large molecules on a large-scale according to current good manufacturing practices (cGMP). Lectures will cover the conceptual aspects of upstream and downstream production issues. (Online) Pre: Graduate standing, or by permission of instructor.
