Broad introduction to computer science, with an emphasis on problem solving. Algorithm discovery. Algorithm analysis. Algorithmic solutions to problem in various sub-fields including operating systems, digital forensics, computer graphics, artificial intelligence, and bioinformatics. (Lec. 3, Lab. 2) Pre: C- or better in CSC 106 or approval of instructor.
