Dropping or Adding a Course

Students may drop or add a Summer Session course according to the following schedule:

URI Summer Drop Schedule	SESSION 1	SESSION 2	SESSION 3
Last day to add courses	May 22	June 26	May 22
Last day to drop	May 29	July 3	June 5

You may petition to drop a course after the e-Campus drop deadline by completing the Petition to Appeal the Drop Date Deadline Form and submitting it to Enrollment Services. We recommend that you participate fully in your summer course while your late drop petition is being evaluated.

Depending on when you drop your URI Summer course, you may receive a full or partial refund. Check the Summer Sessions Reassessments table on our Billing and Assessment page for details.
