2025-2026 Season

FALL Productions

PRIDE AND PREJUDICE directed by Sophia Blum

TWO BY TWO (an evening of two one-act plays) featuring FREE RANGE CHICKENS directed by Kenneth Dunn and THE DUMB WAITER directed by Brandon Tallardy.

SPRING Productions

  • Auditions for both productions are Saturday, December 6 from 2 – 6 p.m. & Sunday, December 7 from 5 – 9 p.m.
  • Location: Robert E. Will Theatre, URI Fine Arts Center, 105 Upper College Road

A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM directed by Tracy Liz Miller
First Rehearsal for A Midsummer Night’s Dream: Saturday, December 13, 12 – 5 p.m.

Callbacks for Midsummer are on Wednesday, December 10, 12 – 4 p.m.

Please prepare one 75-90 second Shakespeare monologue or sonnet. The cast will be comprised of 13 actors that will all be double cast. There will be 7 understudies to cover the entirety of the characters. Cast actors will be working in an environment that is highly physical and utilizes creative movement. Hand-to-hand combat and jazz dance will be involved. There is potential intimacy for the four lovers (Hermia, Lysander, Helena, and Demetrius), Theseus, Oberon, Titania, and Bottom. The four lovers will also have to be comfortable stripping down to period underwear (full coverage).

RIDE THE CYCLONE directed by Rachel Walshe
First Rehearsal for Ride the Cyclone: Saturday, February 28, 12 – 4 p.m.
Callbacks for Ride the Cyclone are on Monday, December 8th, 6:30 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Please prepare a ‘32 bar’ musical theatre song corresponding to the character range and genre you’d like to audition for. For any questions regarding vocal range and style, please refer to the character information sheet. Please note that movement auditions will be taking place during Callbacks on Monday, December 8th.
