Covid-19  Shuttle Service updates and protocols

On-campus shuttle service will resume on September 9, 2020

To serve the needs of our community in an efficient and effective manner, some on-campus shuttle routes have been modified to maintain physical distancing guidelines. Fall 2020 bus routes can be tracked in real time at uri.transloc.com. Riders should note:

  • Please maintain physical distance while waiting at a shuttle stop.
  • Proper face coverings are required at all times while utilizing the shuttle services.  Passengers will not be able to board without a proper face covering.
  • Reduced passenger capacity in line with state requirements.  Please respect the guidance from the driver if informed that the shuttle is at capacity.
  • Select a seat that encourages physical distancing from other passengers, as well as the driver.  Adhere to seat restrictions when indicated.
  • The consumption of food and drink remains prohibited while utilizing shuttle services

When boarding, please allow passengers to first exit at all stops without identified loading zones. Please enter the bus from the identified boarding area and fill available seats from the rear of the bus to the front. Available seats will be identified. Standing areas will be marked by “Stand Here” floor decals.

When leaving the bus, please exit from front to rear seats and respect the space of fellow passengers as you exit.

Bus Cleaning and Disinfecting

Extensive bus cleaning and disinfecting with products and methods prescribed by the CDC for reducing the spread of illness.

If you are not feeling well and especially if you are running a fever, please do not board the buses.
