Rhody Shuttle Service is available around campus. All shuttles are ADA accessible and available to visitors, students, faculty, and staff. The shuttles operate Monday through Friday starting 7:30 a.m. with service, on average, every 8-20 minutes. Shuttles do not operate on weekends or holidays.

Shuttle Information
When does Rhody Transportation run?
The shuttle service operates while URI is in session during the fall and spring semesters. It does not operate during winter, spring or summer breaks. It also does not operate on Thanksgiving or Christmas break, New Year’s Day and other major holidays observed by URI.
Rhody Ram Line
The Ram Line connects the main campus of URI with Independence Square and can be boarded or exited at the Memorial Union, Upper College Rd. Gateway Apartments, Graduate Village, or at the Independence Square.
Frequency: Monday to Friday: 7:30am-5:30pm, with service running every 15-20 mins. Service to Independence Square ends 4:30pm. No Service on Saturdays / Sundays and holidays.
Rhody Blue Line
The Blue Line serves Keaney Parking Lots, Fraternity Circle, and Residential areas connecting them with the URI Student Memorial Union and the academic core of the campus.
Frequency: Monday to Friday: 7:30am-6:00pm, with service running every 8-15 mins. No Service on Saturdays / Sundays and holidays.
Rhody Hill Climber
During peak commuting hours, the Rhody Hill Climber runs in a continuous loop from the Plains Road parking lot through the core of the campus all the way up to Upper College Road.
Frequency: Monday to Friday: 7:30am-7:00pm, with service running every 8-15 mins. No Service on Saturdays / Sundays and holidays.
Rhodyville
The Rhodyville Line serves Plains Rd to the URI Student Memorial Union.
Frequency: Monday to Thursday: 7:30am-7:00pm and Fridays until 3:30 with service running every 20 mins.
Frequency: Monday to Friday. No Service on Saturdays / Sundays and holidays.
Event Shuttle Service
Shuttle service is available for special events on a limited basis. If your organization or department needs a shuttle for an on-campus event, you may request one by completing the Shuttle Request Form. All shuttle requests must be made fourteen (14) business days in advance of the date of the event. The current rental rate is $125/hr with a 4 (hour) hour consecutive minimum to book the shuttle. The start time begins from when the bus departs the garage until it returns. Please assume an additional 30 minutes charged with the trip time to account for travel. As soon as the shuttle is scheduled, it is the event organizer’s responsibility to ensure that attendees are notified of the appropriate locations for pickups and drop-offs.
