Biography

Lisa Giudici, Ed.D. is the inaugural First Year Experience Coordinator at the University of Rhode Island. She completed her Master of Science at the University of Rhode Island in Human Development and Family Studies, with a concentration in College Student Personnel. She also received her Bachelor of Arts from URI, majoring in Elementary Education and Spanish. She received her Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership from Johnson & Wales University in May 2021.

Lisa has an extensive background in academic advising, athletic academic advising, advising professional organizations, new student orientation, first year experience, trio and bridge advising, and teaching. Her research concentrations are in academic advising, collegiate culture, student sense of belonging in higher education, and the undergraduate student experience.
