Academic Enhancement Center

Need a little help with concepts? Stuck on a math problem? Having trouble figuring out your book? Not sure why you’re studying hard but still not doing well? We can help you with solving problems, preparing for tests, or just learning how to study better — in any course.

Counseling Center

The URI Counseling Center provides services to enhance the personal, academic, emotional, social, and life planning effectiveness of students. These services may include crisis intervention, individual counseling, group counseling, referrals for psychiatric assessment, and mental health screening.

Disability Services

Disability Services for Students works with students and all units of URI to foster an inclusive, welcoming, and accessible environment. We work with you, our students, to support academic success and self-advocacy.

LGBTQ resources

The University of Rhode Island’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer (LGBTQ) Center is a cultural department that allows students, faculty, and staff to explore and affirm their multiple and intersecting identities, especially surrounding gender and sexuality.

Multicultural Center

The URI Multicultural Center (MCC) is a place dedicated to developing a supportive and inclusive campus culture across the boundaries of culture, identity, and discipline. Celebrating unity in diversity, the Multicultural Center invites all of it’s students, faculty, staff, administrators, alumni, and other friends to join in its work in creating a community of learners within and beyond URI.
