MIA WILKOWSKI is a senior and current President of the Panhellenic Association (Panhel). Prior to being President, she was the Assistant to the Vice President of Recruitment. Mia joined Greek Life her freshmen year and has been heavily involved in Greek Life ever since. She has been a recruitment counselor, a Greek 101 Mentor, and a Teacher Assistant for CSV 302 to help other Greek 101 Mentors guide their students. Mia also spends time being involved with Hillel and Habitat for Humanity. Mia defines fellowships as “coming together from various houses to create a stronger sense of community.” She has tremendously grown from being apart of Greek Life and has found her home away from home. “Even though everyone is separated in their own chapter, we come together so often that it creates a family for all of us,” she says. “This togetherness gives a sense of belonging while being away from our homes. Having a role in Greek Life makes me feel apart of something important.” She’s made the most of her college experience and hopes everyone embraces all the opportunities she has. Upon graduation Mia hopes to move to New York City and start her career in the fashion industry. Mia’s continuous commitment to the community embody URI Greek Life’s Core Values in fellowship.
