Welcome to the Theta Theta chapter of Kappa Delta!
Kappa Deltas strive to make great things happen in the lives of women on our campus and in our community. The principles and ideals upon which our organization was founded are ingrained in everything we do as a sorority. Kappa Delta is committed to inspiring women to reach their full potential by offering opportunities for leadership, community service and sisterhood while promoting confidence in women and girls.
The sisters of Kappa Delta can be recognized at almost any location on campus, as we are all involved with multiple external organizations on campus. We are committed to altruistic involvement, academic achievement, and philanthropic endeavors. Our philanthropies include Girl Scouts USA and Prevent Child Abuse America. We also prioritize fun within our chapter as we hold many sisterhood events in order for all members bond while having a great time.
We are thrilled to be the newest sorority at The University of Rhode Island and to be the 155th active chapter of Kappa Delta. Being newly chartered and initiated in Spring 2014, we still have many traditions to start, a lot of growing to do, and have a lot of memories to make. We as sisters have so much to look forward to and we cannot wait to see what life-changing opportunities Kappa Delta has in store for us.
