We, the sisters of the Zeta Theta chapter of Delta Phi Epsilon, are so excited to be the newest sorority to join the URI Greek community! Being able to start this journey in our centennial year allows us to continue the 100 year old legacy the sisters before us have built.

As a chapter, we make sure to live by our principles of Justice, Sisterhood, and Love, and our motto Esse Quam Videri – to be rather than to seem to be – because our sisters should always remain true to who they are. Empowering each other, working towards our goals, and building a support system are just a few ways we have come together to form our sisterhood.

Sisters of DPhiE continuously work towards helping three philanthropies that we hold close to our hearts; the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF), the National Association for Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD), and the Delta Phi Epsilon Education Foundation. Delta Phi Epsilon started supporting CFF in 1957 when one of our sisters wanted to help her child who was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis, and in 1983 we became the first sorority to pledge support with ANAD.

Whether we are going to lunch together, enjoying the beach, or even just studying in the library we are always having a good time with our sisters. We can’t wait to start welcoming home our new unicorns this fall and share with them all the amazing opportunities being a DPhiE sister has to offer!
