Due to the major snowstorm forecast, which is predicted to hit Rhode Island this evening and all day Tuesday, Health Services will be closed on Tuesday, January 27th, 2015 and possibly have a delayed opening on Wednesday morning, January 28th, 2015. Please call the Health Center at 401-874-2246 prior to leaving for your appointment to confirm that the Center is open for services.  We will also update our website at

During the storm, URI EMS will be in service for on-campus emergencies.  Should you experience an emergency on campus, please dial 401-874-2121 or if off -campus emergency dial 911.

Health Services staff want you to remain safe during this weather event.  Please remain indoors and if you must go out, please dress accordingly and monitor for signs of frostbite.  Information can be found HERE.
