Fall 2017 Move-In
Standard Move-In for first-year students at the University of Rhode Island occurs on Labor Day weekend. The Fall 2017 move-in dates for first year residents are September 2 and 3. A resident’s exact day and time will depend on their residence hall assignment, which will be released in mid-July.
If you have scheduling conflicts with standard move-in dates, Early Move-In is also available for an additional fee of $50 per night. To request an early move-in, log in to your MyHousing account, select Personal Preferences, then complete and submit the form.
Our Move-In Guide is the definitive resource on dates, directions, and policy info pertaining to the Move-In process for academic year housing. The complete 2017 Move-In Guide will be available mid to late July, but for now here’s a quick guide on What to Bring.
Your room assignment is posted online to your MyHousing account and accessible through e-Campus. Your room assignment will be available in July.
