The mission of the Academic Enhancement Center is to empower students to become more skillful and successful in using effective learning strategies. Our peer-led learning model supports undergraduates in targeted content areas, the writing process, and academic skills development. 

STEM & Business Tutors

Peer Tutors provide one-time and on-going content support for STEM & BUS-related courses through the Drop-In Center and weekly tutoring groups.

Writing Consultants

Writing Consultants jumpstart the writing process by helping students at each stage of writing, from breaking down assignments and brainstorming ideas, to revising and refining drafts.

UCS Teaching Assistants

Teaching Assistants (TAs) help UCS 160 & UCS 161 instructors plan and facilitate in-class learning activities and provide feedback and support for students in the course.
