Biography

Heather Price directs URI’s Writing Center, located in Roosevelt Hall Room 009 (lower level). In addition to hiring and supervising tutors and managing the day-to-day operations of the Writing Center, she teaches WRT 353: Issues and Methods in Writing Consultancy, a 4-credit tutor training course offered through the Writing and Rhetoric department, which is a pre-requisite for all undergraduates applying to tutor in the URI Writing Center.

Previously, she taught in the Writing Studies and Creative Writing departments at Roger Williams University, worked as a Writing Specialist in the Bryant University Writing Center, and served as Coordinator of the International Engineering Program (IEP) at URI.
