Biography

Rachel Gomez joined the Academic Testing Center (ATC) team at URI in 2025. Currently pursuing her studies at the Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI), Rachel finds great gratification to be part of such a dedicated and impressive team. She brings enthusiasm and a strong sense of collaboration to her role, excited to contribute to the ATC’s mission of supporting students and faculty.

Outside of the ATC, Rachel enjoys attending concerts and spending time with her two parakeets and two cats. Her favorite place in Rhode Island is Westerly Town Beach.

Primary Responsibilities

Proctors support daily operations of the ATC. This involves administrative duties to prepare for daily testing sessions, facilitating student check-in, proctoring exams, responding to faculty and student questions, and promoting a culture of academic integrity.
