Biography
Inas Shnewer joins the University of Rhode Island’s Doctor of Business Administration program with over a decade of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. She currently serves as a Senior Specialist in Business Operations within a Cell & Gene Therapy division, where she leads budgeting, forecasting, and process optimization initiatives that support strategic decision-making and cross-functional collaboration.
Inas began her career as a scientist, holding research roles at Johnson & Johnson and other organizations, where she worked on gene therapy development, cell banking, and technology transfer. Her scientific background, combined with her business expertise, gives her a unique perspective on operational leadership in the life sciences sector.
She holds an MBA in Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Business from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, a Master of Science in Microbiology from Thomas Jefferson University, and a Bachelor of Science from Rutgers University. She is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
Beyond her professional achievements, Inas has a deep love for nature, the beach, and travel. She enjoys immersing herself in new cultures, chasing sunsets around the world, and embracing the perspective that comes from exploring diverse environments. She brings that same curiosity and openness to her academic and professional journey, and looks forward to growing as a strategic leader in the DBA program.
