Invest in yourself and your career with URI’s Part Time M.B.A. program. Designed for working professionals, this flexible, part-time program will help you achieve your goals, including advancing in your career, transitioning to another field, networking, and professional development. To maximize flexibility, classes can be taken in-person (usually each course meets one night a week at the URI Providence Campus RI Nursing Education Center at 350 Eddy Street), 100% online, or you can alternate between in person and online offerings based on their unique needs.

Summer courses, accelerated January term courses, and Global Immersion courses are also available. The URI MBA program meets you where you are.

The Part Time M.B.A. program offers specializations in finance, FinTech (new! beginning Fall 2025), marketing, organizational leadership, and supply chain management (more information). This non-thesis program uses a unique combination of lectures, discussions, case studies, and both individual and group projects to deliver the curriculum. The M.B.A. program does not require previous instruction in business administration.

In this program, you also have the opportunity to earn a URI graduate certificate while pursuing your M.B.A. degree. For example, students can use electives to satisfy the requirements for a certificate to earn a Blue MBA (more information) or you can differentiate your program of study with a certificate in Healthcare Management, Accounting Analytics, Fashion Merchandising, Human Resource Management, or Labor Relations.

Ask Lisa Lancellotta (mba@uri.edu) for details about how you can customize your program.
