Green Business Program
Overview
As one of the nation’s first undergraduate programs of its kind, URI’s green business program prepares you for the new, green economy.
You will complete two degrees in four years. Choose from:
- Green Markets & Sustainability and Management,
- Green Markets & Sustainability and Marketing, or
- Create your own track with Environmental Economics and a business major (e.g. Green Supply Chain; Green Entrepreneurship; Green Finance)
This double degree program is perfect for you if you are interested in socially responsible investment, net zero investment, social or sustainable marketing, renewable energy, carbon markets, triple bottom line, energy and climate economics, conservation economics, water economics, and/or sustainable supply chain. You will also have the opportunity to gain real world experience through internships, fellowships, and research.
The Green Business program offers you the opportunity to double major in either Green Markets and Sustainability and General Business or Green Markets and Sustainability and Marketing. Classes in the College of Business with help you develop a well-rounded understanding of how businesses function. In the College of the Environment and Life Sciences, you learn how humans interact with the environment. In the green business program, you combine these tools to analyze complex environmental problems and design innovative solutions for businesses.Earn Two Degrees
