If Admitted

Flagship staff will review an application once all application materials have been submitted. After the application has been reviewed, faculty will contact the applicant and arrange a time for the interview. Applicants should then expect to receive an admissions decision by email within two weeks.

Students will be instructed which Chinese class to take in their admissions letter. Generally, students start with CHN 111, 211, or 311, depending on their level of Chinese experience.

• Students should NOT enroll in CHN 101, 102, 103, 104, 205, or 206. These are standard track, not Flagship, Chinese classes.
• Incoming freshmen of all Chinese proficiency levels should be on the lookout for an email regarding Flagship Orientation in August.
• Incoming freshmen should also submit a housing application to live in the Chinese LLC in Hillside Hall if interested
