Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Nutrition Curriculum
Grade 5
Grade 5 students become aware of how the media affects the foods they choose through a lesson about processed foods. Fifth graders are asked to write a persuasive letter home to their families encouraging them to eat more fruits and vegetables. The “Kitchen Calculations” worksheet deals with the concepts of measurement and conversions.
