Assistant Professor Sarah Brown has been selected as the recipient of the 2025 Graduate Mentoring Excellence Award presented to a faculty member in the College of Arts and Sciences! Each year, graduate students are invited to nominate members of the graduate faculty who are outstanding mentors and major professors. Students are asked to consider those professors who set excellent examples by their own research, scholarship, and creative work, who guide graduate students in their professional development, and who effectively mentor and prepare students for comprehensive examinations, thesis and/or dissertation processes.
