Abstract
Join us for an engaging Data Science event featuring Alena Korshunova (MBA), currently a Business Intelligence Analyst at FM Global, who will share insights into her career path and experience working in industry. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about real-world applications of data science and professional pathways beyond academia. Professor Natallia Katenka, Director of Data Science, will also briefly highlight graduate opportunities at University of Rhode Island. Indrani Mandal (CSC) will present AI opportunities. Professors Shaun Wallace, Ashley L Buchanan, Krishna Venkatasubramanian, and Noah Daniels will feature their research and/or stop by to introduce themselves. This is a great opportunity to learn more about ongoing work across CSC, STA, AMS, and related areas. We will provide pastries, fruit, and coffee/tea. The format will be informal to encourage conversation and networking.
