Build intelligent systems, protect the digital world, or invent something new. Our B.S. and B.A. majors give you a rigorous computing core: software, algorithms, systems, and theory, and the freedom to shape it around your goals. Both programs share the same core in programming, data structures, software engineering, data science, systems, and algorithms. Choose the balance of depth and flexibility that fits your plans.

Bachelor of Science

An 11-course computing core, strong math and science preparation, a required internship or research capstone, and a three-course specialization in General Computer Science, AI, or Cybersecurity.

Learn by doing

Every B.S. student completes a professional internship (CSC 477) or a faculty-mentored research project (CSC 499). You’ll graduate with shipped work, professional references, and a story to tell in interviews. B.A. students are strongly encouraged to do the same. Explore projects and internships.
