Congratulations to URI Statistics MS recent graduate Anna Fateiger, who won one of the Student Poster Awards (Sponsored by Munich Re) at the 35th New England Statistical Symposium (hosted this year by UCONN) alongside competitors from the very best statistics programs in Massachusetts and Connecticut. 

The poster, titled “A spatio temporal analysis of American Woodcock movement” featured the research that Anna conducted for her MS thesis, and that is now preparing to submit to a peer-reviewed journal.
