Undergraduate Students

I am interested in involving motivated undergraduate students in the lab’s research projects. When opportunities arrive, I will release a message on our News page and circulate it across the WRT and NRS listservs. If you have an idea for a project that might fit with our work, please contact me. You are welcome to propose projects around your research/thesis, or you could purse a project in an area where you wish to gain experience and undergraduate research credits.

Prospective Graduate Students

As funded positions become available, I will post them on the News page and share them to writing studies listservs. I also welcome general inquiries from exceptional students interested in finding alternative funding sources (e.g., NEH GRFP) and are highly self-motivated. Interested applicants should contact me at madisonjones@uri.edu with a CV and a brief statement (1-2 paragraphs) describing relevant coursework, other related experience, and why you are interested in working in the lab.
