4+1 ABM Degrees in the Feinstein College of Education

TESOL/BDL 4+1 Program

Education majors can earn a M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)/Bilingual and Dual Language Immersion (BDL) and a bachelor’s degree, in 5 years.

Eligibility and Guidelines

You are not required to commit to a graduate degree right away. With hands-on academic advising each semester, you will be guided to make the academic and career decisions that are best for you.
A 3.0 cumulative GPA (or higher) is required at the end of your junior year if you would like to pursue the 4+1 ABM programs.
During your junior or senior year, you will complete a fee-waived application expressing your formal interest in one of our 4+1 ABM programs.
