Education Doctorate, Ed.D.
Curriculum
The 69-credit curriculum includes 30 transfer credits from a master’s degree and 39 credits completed in the program. The program is rooted in foundational courses about leading learning as well as decision implementation science. You have an opportunity to integrate your learning and professional experience in a culminating Doctoral Praxis Project (DPP). Throughout the 4-semester DPP (EDD 697, 698) sequence, you’ll be mentored by your Ed.D. advisor as well as alongside a mentor at the site of your DPP.
To augment this core curriculum, you have the opportunity to delve into an applied focus area that aligns with your career goals. We’re all about flexibility and support for each student’s career goals. With support from your faculty advisor, you will design a focus area that aligns with your doctoral program of study.
