Overview

The Education Doctorate (Ed.D.) program supports students in engaging in work that is deeply embedded in practice sites such as PK-12 schools, colleges and universities, and community programs. This largely synchronous online program enables you to deepen your educational expertise and hone your leadership skills. The Ed.D. is a great fit for education professionals who are working full time. Most students complete the program part-time in three years while continuing full time employment.

All core Ed.D. courses are delivered synchronously online in the evening, providing flexibility as well as a cohort-based learning community for working professionals. One of the strengths of the Feinstein College of Education is the diversity of programs and faculty expertise. As an Ed.D. student, you can select focused electives from any of our programs–whether those courses are online, in person, or hybrid. You choose! Applied focus courses may be offered online or in person, depending on departmental offerings, allowing you to customize your learning experience.
