There are two career fairs for engineering students each year where companies actively seek our students both for full-time employment after graduation and also for internships:

• URI Engineering & Technology Employment Fair (annually in October)
• URI Spring Career & Employment Fair (annually in April)

Throughout the year, companies send internship and employment opportunities to the dean’s office or to department chairs, who notify students. This information is also posted on the URI Center for Career and Experiential Education website in a searchable employment opportunities database that students can access through RhodyNet.
