The waiver deadline for the 2025-2026 annual policy period was October 10, 2025. 
Eligible students who did not submit a waiver by this deadline will be automatically enrolled in the Student Health Plan.

The waiver form will remain available through November 10, 2025. If you have active coverage under a plan that meets the below requirements you may submit a late waiver form for review.

Please note: if the Plan has been utilized since September 1, 2025 coverage will not be terminated and the waiver will not be accepted.

URI has moved to a new waiver and enrollment partner, Academic Health Plans (AHP). AHP manages waivers and all insurance enrollments for students. Visit the AHP website for the most up-to-date information about insurance for students.
