The Social Sciences Living and Learning Community (LLC) is one of the Arts and Sciences LLCs and provides first-year students with a living environment that promotes personal growth, academic success, and a smooth transition from high school to college. This LLC focuses on the following cornerstones:
- Offering programming that assures and inspires a diverse array of career options
- Connecting with the other Arts and Sciences LLCs to explore shared interests and opportunities

Eligibility
Incoming first-year students admitted with majors in Africana Studies, Anthropology, Criminology and Criminal Justice, Economics, Gender and Women’s Studies, International Studies and Diplomacy, Political Science, and Sociology who request on-campus housing are automatically eligible for assignment to the LLC residence hall.
