Currently a Doctor of Physical Therapy student at the University of Rhode Island, Kingston, RI

Currently, I am pursuing a career in physical therapy and hope to specialize in sports medicine. My URI KIN degree helped me by providing a strong foundation in topics, such as exercise physiology, exercise testing and prescription, resistance training, and social and psychological aspects of exercise. I also got valuable experience working in an exercise science lab, writing case studies and literature reviews, doing research with professors, and hands on clinical experience during my internship. During my internship, I worked with the sports medicine staff at Providence College which is what sparked my interest for working with athletes. I’m very excited to continue my professional education at URI for the next three years!
