Are you ready to break through as a leader at URI? The Sophomore Breakthrough Experience (SBE) is an opportunity for second-year students, as emerging student leaders, to spend time not only learning about themselves, but also meeting their peers and upper class student leaders on campus. As a participant, you will:

• gain valuable knowledge and skills that will help you define your authentic leadership philosophy
• make meaning of a values-based approach to involvement on campus
• challenge yourself and foster personal growth through a variety of activities and interaction with others

Sophomore Breakthrough Experience will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026.
