Why should someone new to URI attend Leadership Institute? What is your favorite part of Leadership Institute?

I recommend attending if you have any apprehensions that URI is the right community for you! My favorite thing about Leadership Institute was how nurturing the peer leaders and organizers are without coddling you – they are masters at encouragement. You’ll meet so many people different from you which is a perfect introduction to the college experience -step out of your comfort zone in a safe space before you dive into the depths of freshman year!
