Early Move-In Notice
All Leadership Institute participants will be approved for early move-in on August 29th. We will submit the final participants list to our colleagues in Housing and Residential Life. You will not need to do anything in advance; the early move-in fee will be on your bill and must be paid before registration for Spring 2024 classes. If you intend to move in on August 30th, the morning our program starts, please notify us via email to leadership@etal.uri.edu to avoid additional fees.
Below you will find general information regarding frequently asked questions, and a step-by-step guide to confirm your spot in the program, including the required forms, and payment information. Please read through all details thoroughly.

Step 1 – RSVP
Your confirmation is due by Thursday, July 20, 2023. To get started, you will need your URI single sign on login credentials.
- Check your URI email inbox for the Event Invitation for Leadership Institute 2023 from sender URInvolved. Open the message and click on the RSVP button.
- On the event page, click on “Continue to RSVP” button
- Indicate whether you will, or will not be attending. If you are attending, please fill out the additional questions to complete your RSVP.
- You will receive an email confirmation after your RSVP.
Step 2 – Required Forms
Your completed forms are due by Thursday, July 20, 2023. If you are under 18 years of age, you must have a parent / legal guardian sign these forms. Please download the forms provided below and open the PDFs from your downloads folder. They may be filled out, signed, and submitted electronically. You will receive a confirmation email upon submission and approval. If your forms are denied, please read comments provided, make corrections, and resubmit.
*This YMCA form specifies “parent/guardian” but if you are 18 or older, please fill out/sign the form for yourself.

Step 3 – Payment
The $200 participant fee can be paid with credit card and is due by 9 AM on Monday, July 31, 2023. Please note that payments will only be accepted from students who have been accepted to the Leadership Institute and who have confirmed their spot above. Payments submitted by students who have not been accepted or have not confirmed their spot will be refunded.
