Biography

Jae was born in Memphis, Tennessee and grew up in Orlando, Florida. She attended Brown University and in 2022 Jae earned her Bachelor of Arts in Ethnic Studies with a concentration on the lived experiences of Black women. At Brown, Jae was a member of the Orientation Welcoming Committee and the Varsity Track and Field team. Jae’s experiences in the classroom, as a student leader, and as a NCAA Division 1 student-athlete influenced her decision to pursue a Masters degree in College Student Personnel (CSP) at the University of Rhode Island. Along with the CSP Masters program Jae will be working as a graduate assistant in the Center for Student Leadership Development. Jae is excited to start her graduate studies and to be working in the CSLD!
