Biography

Alexa, originally from Randolph, New Jersey is a current first year graduate student  in the College Student Personnel Program. Prior to pursuing a graduate degree she  completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Rhode Island, earning a bachelor’s degree in Film Media and Communication Studies with a minor in Public Relations. During her time at URI she was an Orientation Leader, a Resident Academic Mentor and part of the Student Entertainment Committee. The culmination of these experiences sparked a passion for student development. Alexa is thrilled to start her role as a graduate assistant with the CSLD, where she looks forward to furthering her learning and professional growth. Outside of school Alexa enjoys finding new recipes to cook, discovering new places to see the sunset and checking odd a long list of must watch movies.
